Gaza Stories is an independent website that publishes first-person testimony from Gaza and related pages. We are not a charity, we do not sell anything, and we do not collect donations on this site.
What we collect
You can read this site without creating an account. We do not run a mailing list or a comments section. We do not offer logins.
This site does not take public submissions. We do not collect donations or process cards. The Donate button goes to Rahaf’s GoFundMe.
Cookies and similar storage
The dark-mode toggle stores your preference in your browser so the site can remember it on a later visit.
Visitors can pick more languages with a GTranslate menu. That menu uses Google’s translation service. If you choose a language, Google may see the page text and store a language cookie in your browser. We do not invent our own translations of someone’s testimony. The words we publish stay as written.
If this site has a share link, it is just a link. We do not load tracking scripts from anyone. If you click a link and leave our site, that other site has its own rules. We cannot stop their app from logging that click.
Links to other sites
The Donate button goes to a GoFundMe campaign run by Seth Kelley for Rahaf. We do not process card payments or hold donated money. GoFundMe’s own privacy policy applies to that campaign.
Verification information is provided by Gaza-Verified, which is an entirely separate organisation with no affiliation to this project.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not use advertising networks on this site.
- We do not install cookies, pixels, beacons, or other tracking.
- We do not send untrusted parties our traffic logs or analytics.
- We do not take a cut of donations.
- We do not offer user accounts.
